PART-TIME ADMISSIONS AND MARKETING ASSISTANT

Rivermont Collegiate is a co-educational, independent school offering an exclusively college preparatory program. Its eight and one-half acre campus is located on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River in Bettendorf, Iowa. Founded in 1884, Rivermont is the only Preschool through 12th Grade college preparatory, day and boarding school in the Quad Cities.

SUMMARY

Rivermont Collegiate is searching for a part-time Admissions & Marketing Assistant. This position is an hourly position and will be a temporary position but may become permanent depending on school needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Assist with social media post

· Assist with the creation of marketing materials

· Entering new/returning students data into computer system

· Contacting former students/families

· Maintaining records

· Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· General office experience is required.

· Background in admissions or marketing a plus.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

A current driver’s license will be required. A criminal multi-state background check is required and must be successfully completed before employment can begin.

The Admissions and Marketing Assistant must be:

• Able to communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators.
• Computer skills utilizing Word, Excel, and past database experience required.
• Professional
• Fluent with social media

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
